Oh my GAUSH, OH MY GOD! Sorry for the exaggerated intro, but this feels like baarish after a desert safari. Yes, Gaush vs Uday is back. If you do not know these maestros, they are the best in this lyrical penmanship. Their versatility has taken expectations to cloud nine,fine,dine,shine and goes on just like their rhyme schemes . We expect nothing less than bars, flows, and of course, the inside tea. Not gonna lie, “inside tea” is the best part of any beef. But before we sip on the hottest parts, let us see what brewed it.
For those thinking this beef started with “pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis,” you are wrong. This beef has a history worth a read.
It goes back to the days when Gaush was with Bantai Records and a prominent name in the industry, Arya, was with Kalamkaar. VNI, the next big hit, produced for both. But since Kalamkaar and Bantai Records weren’t exactly besties, he had to pick a side. Arya, being a well wisher of VNI, told Gaush to keep working with him. Gaush, however, felt snitched on and thought VNI was only nice to him for the song. This made Gaush furious.
Things escalated when Gaush, along with his cypher gang, went to VNI’s apartment and threatened the 16-year-old. Later, they were taken to VNI’s house, where Gaush kept it respectful but not too subtle. Also, not everyone was taken in, just 4-5 people.
Now, where does Uday come in? VNI is Uday’s producer.
Both artists ended up on the same show. When they were put head to head in the battle round, Gaush fumbled and got eliminated the same day. This added more spice to the beef. With contracts ending, the diss war officially began.
ROUND 0.5:
Uday dropped “Contract,” on 28 December 2024 . In which the following lines Gaush thought It was jabs at him:

ROUND 1:
Then things took a direct and gritty turn.
First Uday then posted a blurred photo of himself and Gaush on Instagram with the caption “Gaush Track.” The track was nothing just funny mocking side form Uday where he takes Gaush’s ‘Tap out’ Performance of MTV Hustle 03 ang turned to a ‘Gauntlet’ sort of vibe, [Spoiler alert: It’s the hardest diss among all the songs]
The next day, he dropped a diss track titled *Unblock* early in the morning here’s serious with allegations and disses came back ,not just a pistol, but a full-blown rifle. Uday accuses Gaush of blaming Mrunal Shankar for his fumble. He claims the show favored Gaush, but he still lost. The track also addresses VNI, Soham, and more

Within 24 hours, DHH witnessed ‘Industry Plant’ by Gaush.Where Gaush accused someone from MTV, identified as “K***tan,” of leaking his lyrics to Uday so he could prepare replies in advance.

This line is a wordplay on “Mrunal Shankar.”
Uday mocked Gaush for his asthma, while Gaush mocked Uday’s pronunciation throughout his track. For instance:
– “VULNEDABLE” instead of “VULNERABLE”
– “DANDI DONA” instead of “RR”
– “DESPEDATION” instead of “DESPERATION
ROUND 2:
Uday took his time and responded with ‘Victim Card’ in two days. Which is produced by VNI Uday accuses Gaush of dragging Mrunal into the controversy due to her relationship with Hithuman. He mocks Gaush for his asthma, questions his rap skills, and claims Gaush has a backup plan to move to the USA if music fails. Uday also alleges that Gaush planned to have him beaten up when alone.

Uday continues his comic nature in the beef as he switched into ‘Uday Mehndi’ on outro and mocks Gaush’s slip incident during the MTV Hustle 03 finale shoot

But again Gaush showcased his speed both in writing and spitting, and gave us ‘25 Freestyle’ within 24 hours.”25 Freestyle” no doubt tilted the whole game towards Gaush. I mean, fastest rapper for a reason.
The name follows his song series “_ Freestyle,” where “_” is replaced by his age at the time. Previously, he released 21 Freestyle, which won Rohan Cariappa’s One Minute Rap Challenge, and 22 Freestyle, where he rapped at 388 words per minute.
In this track Gaush calls out Uday’s hypocrisy on Mrunal, flips the Hustle slip diss, reminds Uday he once idolized him, and mocks his lack of female interactions.

As the name suggests, GaushGang is a fan page of Gaush, which fueled this beef by posting chat screenshots and old videos as proof of Gaush’s allegations against VNI, Uday, and Soham.

ROUND 3:
After 25 freestyle most of the people declared gaush to be the winner , but uday likes to cook his meals properly so he took 4 days and Dropped ‘Limelight’. In this Uday exposes Gaush’s PR tactics, mocks his “exposures,” and calls him self-proclaimed. He accuses Gaush of copying Raga and Encore’s flow, recycling bars, and how gaush contradicts himself.

Uday highlights his lost friendships with Hit human and Mrunal Shankar
The diss peaks when Uday did the backwards rap which is a well known skill of ‘Gaush’, he also performed a backwards rap (palindrome) track in MTV HUSTLE 03 ‘Spit it back’.

Just when everyone thought the beef was over, Gaush dropped a snippet from backwards rap (palindrome) rap within 12 hours of Limelight. This was in response to Uday mocking him with:

With this move, Gaush left no room for anyone to declare Uday the winner.
