MIA: Uday Bakshi, where you at? Your fans are waiting!

Aflaatune investigates Uday Bakshi's sudden disappearance from DHH.

Uday Bakshi, a stalwart of the underground music scene from Chandigarh and the creative force behind 0172 Delhi Connect, has been a known face in the DHH scene. Despite a modest following, Uday’s dedication to delivering top-tier tracks has never wavered. His long-standing presence in the music scene has made his recent disappearance all the more baffling to fans. “Sometimes your presence is just an illusion.” It was about Uday himself.

Uday’s journey has had its highs and lows. He auditioned for MTV Hustle 1.0, a tale he recounts in his track “On a Wednesday.” In the song, he describes how he captivated the audience and judges, including Raftaar, who already knew him. Despite setting the stage ablaze and getting selected, Uday never made it to the show. The reason? His decision not to disclose his struggles with drug addiction “log coke se nikalte mai seedha aaya coke pe”, revealing the often-hidden, darker side of reality shows.

Uday’s talent and versatility were evident in his collaborations with artists like Rxge, Frappe Ash, Youngsta, and Deep Harks, KKG gang. His musical prowess and adaptability marked him as a rising star in the industry. Had he remained active, there’s no doubt he would be a dominant force in the rap game today. Uday Bakshi’s absence is keenly felt.

Laut aao uday, Hukam ki beats pe loud claps miss ho rahi hain.

His recent collaborations with Sikander Kahlon and Babbar have been a staple in our playlists, and we hope he returns soon after resolving his current challenges. Despite our efforts to contact him, it appears he has deleted his Instagram account. We will keep you updated as soon as we hear from him.
