Doublebeez vs “who”?
For most people, it’s winter, summer, monsoon, and autumn, but for Desi Hip Hop (DHH) aficionados, it’s all about “beef season.” The beef season is officially here, with Talha Anjum vs. Naezy, Loka vs. DG Immortal, Seedhe Maut vs. SOS, and now DOUBLEBEEZ vs.”UNKNOWN”.
Round one:
Doublebeez, consisting of Bella and Byg Smyle, have dropped a diss track titled “Round One” that features powerful, though not overly direct, shots. The lyrical video was released on Byg Smyle’s official YouTube channel, leaving DHH fans curious and speculating. The track’s brutal lyrics are enough to make any competitor weep. Despite the song being widely discussed, the target of their diss remains unclear.
There is speculation that the track is aimed at Hustle 2.0 winner MC Square due to several potential references:
“Tujhe bhetar rap karti mere sang ki chorriya”: This could be a response to MC Square’s statement about women not being able to rap.
“Purav jha ke elvish”: This could be a metaphor pointing out MC Square being Haryanvi and his friendship with Elvish Yadav.
“Tere mere mei farak hai aukkat ka”: Both won MTV Hustle, but Bella remains at the top.
“32 bhor and 4 din”: References to MC Square’s song names and bars.
“Scientist and pen chor”: Bars from MC Square’s track “101”.
“MC kyu in name”: Possibly referring to MC Square’s name.
On the other side, it is also being speculated that the track might be aimed at MC Insane because:
Used the word “insane” more than three times in the track.
“Andhera prakkash par”: MC Insane’s real name is Prakash.
“Yeh therapy jo catalouge se hai way up”: “Therapy” is the name of MC Insane’s album.
“MC kyu in name”: This could also be referring to MC Insane’s name.
However, the possibility of this track being a diss for MC Insane is very low, as Bella and Insane are good friends and have collaborated in the past. Fans are eager to see more collaborations between them. But if it is Bella bhai , “what about the plans“? This leaves fans even more curious about the true target of the diss track.
Round 2:
Bella jitna acha utna zulmi, ab saboot du kya? Giving one diss track at a time wasn’t enough for the duo. Another diss track, or the sequel to “Round One,” titled “Round Two,” was released on Bella’s channel, once again leaving fans in a state of curiosity. Bella bhai ne kisko diss kra yeh toh sirf Bella bhai hi jante hai. There’s no clarity from either Bella’s side or Byg Smyle’s side.
But one thing is very clear from the track: the duo is ready to go all in. And to whoever is asking, “Doublebeez kaun hai?” the answer is : BC, pioneers hai.
Young nug:
There was some initial confusion and misunderstanding between Sambhav (known as Young Nug) and Bella regarding the release of tracks. Young Nug mistakenly thought the tracks were aimed at him and responded by releasing two diss tracks. However, Bella clarified through comments and stories that the tracks were not directed at Young Nug. They communed the issue through WhatsApp, and Bella shared screenshots of their conversation on his story which only fueled the fight.
