The wait is over. Two of the biggest names in Indian hip-hop, Karan Aujla and DIVINE, have released their anticipated collaboration album – “STREET DREAMS”.
Karan Aujla had previously informed his fans about an upcoming collaboration, revealing that he has more than 5 songs in the works with Divine. Earlier this month, Divine dropped hints about an upcoming album. Following the success of their track “100 Million,” discussions arose about the possibility of a joint collaboration album.
The album, which dropped on February 16, 2024, features seven tracks that showcase the duo’s lyrical prowess, musical versatility, and street credibility.
STREET DREAMS is a celebration of the inspiring journey and success of both artists, who have risen from humble beginnings to become global icons.
The album’s lead single, “100 Million”, which has already amassed over 17 million views on YouTube1, is an ode to their unparalleled achievements and fan following.
The track, produced by Trox and Samarei, is a catchy and confident anthem that sets the tone for the rest of the album.
The album also features collaborations with other talented artists, such as Jonita Gandhi on the romantic “Yaad”, and Jontja on the nostalgic “Hisaab”. The production line-up is equally impressive, with names like Just Blaze, Rick Rock, Timbaland, Trackmasters, and Kanye West behind the beats. The album covers a range of styles and moods, from the philosophical “Nothing Lasts” and “Hisaab”, to the party vibe of “Top Class/Overseas” and “Straight Ballin’”, to the smooth and soulful “Tareefan”.
